Jesus follower and mom to three amazing kids. Legal assistant by day and photographer by trade. I began my photography journey by capturing everyday moments of my childhood adventures using my dad’s old film camera and later developed a true fascination for the art after taking a photography course in High School. I haven’t put the camera down since. When I realized that I was able to stop time, if even for a moment, I fell in love with the art of photography. It has been said that photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.
My love for the visual arts, natural lighting and the outdoors, combined with my passion for people and photography have allowed me to seamlessly transition from hobby photography to professional photography. I am creative, artsy, shy away from traditionally “posed” photographs and focus more on a cross between lifestyle and photojournalist style shoots. I absolutely love natural light and that is why most of my sessions take place outdoors.
